On Wednesday, January 22nd, the Seward Community Foundation held a nonprofit luncheon to announce a total of $120,608 is available for grants in 2020.  During the event, discussions were had on updates to the grant application, fiscal sponsorships, and how to complete the budget form.

Additionally, SCF invited a guest speaker to share other resources with nonprofit and community members who attended the luncheon. Cindy Ecklund presented on board development topics; how to run an efficient board meeting was discussed.  SCF also held a “Guess the $ Amount of Grants Available” contest and Frances Azzad-Smith of the Seward Community Health Center won with a guess of $120,030.  With this guess, Frances won a $1,000 grant for the health center.
