In 2024 HYPER launched the Lil’ Farmer’s Market exhibit at the Seward Farmers Market and Public Library.
“Discover the wonders of the natural world in our Lil’ Farmer’s Market Exhibit at the Seward Children’s Pop-up Museum—a delightful adventure that brings the farm to life for young explorers. Wander through a pretend thriving garden where little hands can plant seeds, nurture growing plants, and learn about the magic of sustainable agriculture. Encounter the gentle buzz of pretend bees as they pollinate flowers, fostering an appreciation for the vital role they play in our ecosystem.” Rhonda Bohart
The Farmer’s Market Exhibit is a vibrant tapestry of learning and fun, where children cultivate not only vegetables but also a lifelong love for the environment, agriculture, and the essential role of bees and chickens in our world.
This exhibit addresses the community need for increased learning opportunities for children. Studies show children who visit children’s museums before kindergarten have higher scores in reading, math, & science compared with those who did not.* By age five, a child’s brain is 90% developed, we need to focus on providing many learning experiences for the young minds of our Seward children. Let us work together to support the young minds and families of our community. We will be at every Seward Farmer’s Market summer 2024.
